Clear terms. Simple experience.
Effective date: August 5, 2026. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Credit4You website, online application, customer portal, and related services. A separate loan agreement governs any loan you accept.
By accessing or using the Credit4You website, creating or using an account, submitting an application, or communicating with us through our online services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and acknowledge our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use the website or submit an application. These Terms do not replace the disclosures, consents, authorizations, or loan agreement presented during the application and approval process.
Credit4You provides online loan application, account-management, payment, renewal, customer-support, and related services in jurisdictions where its products are offered and permitted.
Website content is provided for general information and does not constitute a loan offer, approval, guarantee of funding, financial advice, legal advice, or a commitment to lend. A binding loan is created only when all required conditions are satisfied and the applicable loan agreement is accepted by the parties.
To submit an application, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.
- Reside in a Canadian province or territory where Credit4You currently offers the requested product.
- Provide a valid Canadian bank account and satisfy the income, employment, identity, and other requirements communicated during the application process.
- Submit complete, accurate, current, and truthful information.
- Apply only for yourself and not impersonate or act for another person without valid authorization.
- Use the service only for lawful personal purposes.
By submitting an application, you authorize Credit4You to review the information you provide and to complete the verifications and assessments described in the application, consent forms, and Privacy Policy.
This may include identity, contact, income, employment, banking, fraud-prevention, repayment-history, account-ownership, and other eligibility checks. We may request additional documents or information before making a decision.
Credit4You may approve, decline, pause, or cancel an application where permitted by law, including where eligibility requirements are not met, information cannot be verified, information appears inaccurate or misleading, fraud or misuse is suspected, or the requested product is unavailable.
If your application is approved, you may receive a loan offer. Before accepting, review all disclosures and the loan agreement carefully. They will identify the information applicable to your loan, which may include:
- The principal amount and amount advanced.
- The annual interest rate and annual percentage rate, where applicable.
- The term, payment frequency, installment amounts, and payment dates.
- Applicable fees, charges, and the total cost of borrowing.
- Payment authorization, prepayment, deferral, failed-payment, default, and cancellation terms.
Credit4You currently advertises loan amounts from $250 to $2,500 with terms of 62 days or longer. The amount and terms available to you depend on eligibility, applicable law, and the offer presented to you.
If these website Terms conflict with an accepted loan agreement, the loan agreement governs the loan-related matter to the extent of the conflict, subject to applicable law.
You agree that applications, consents, disclosures, agreements, notices, and other records may be presented, signed, and delivered electronically where permitted by law.
You are responsible for maintaining a working email address, telephone number, compatible device, and internet access, and for promptly notifying us when your contact information changes.
You may save or print electronic records for your files. Contact us if you require assistance accessing a document.
We may send service-related messages about your application, verification, decision, account, funding, payments, security, or customer-support request. Message frequency varies and standard message or data rates may apply.
Commercial electronic messages will be sent only where permitted by applicable law. They will identify the sender and provide a working unsubscribe mechanism.
To stop marketing text messages, reply STOP. For assistance, reply HELP or email contact@credit4you.ca. Opting out of marketing does not necessarily stop essential service, transactional, fraud-prevention, security, or legal messages.
Our collection, use, disclosure, retention, and protection of personal information are described in the Privacy Policy and in any additional consent or authorization presented during the application process.
Personal information is not retained indefinitely merely because an application was submitted. Retention depends on the purposes for which the information was collected and applicable legal, regulatory, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, and recordkeeping requirements.
You must not:
- Provide false, misleading, incomplete, altered, or fraudulent information.
- Use another person’s identity, bank account, device, credentials, or information without valid authorization.
- Use the website or services for fraud, money laundering, illegal activity, or any purpose prohibited by law.
- Attempt to bypass eligibility, verification, authentication, fraud-prevention, security, or access controls.
- Interfere with the website, introduce malicious code, scrape data without authorization, or attempt unauthorized access.
- Use the website in a manner that infringes the rights of Credit4You or another person.
The website and application process may use or link to third-party services, including bank-verification, identity-verification, payment-processing, analytics, communications, hosting, and security providers.
Third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy notices. Credit4You is not responsible for an unaffiliated third party’s website, content, availability, or independent practices, except to the extent required by law.
The website and its content, including names, logos, text, graphics, designs, software, interfaces, and other materials, are owned by or licensed to Credit4You and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may use the website only for personal, non-commercial purposes connected with evaluating or using Credit4You services. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, license, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the website or its content except as permitted by law or with prior written authorization.
We work to keep the website and online services accurate, secure, and available, but interruptions, delays, errors, maintenance, technical problems, or third-party outages may occur.
To the extent permitted by law, the website and general website content are provided on an “as available” basis. Credit4You does not guarantee uninterrupted access, instant decisions, approval, funding within a particular time, or that every error will be corrected immediately.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, rights, or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Credit4You will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential losses arising solely from website downtime, unauthorized use caused by your failure to protect credentials, or reliance on general website information.
This section does not limit liability that cannot legally be limited, or any rights and remedies available under applicable consumer-protection, privacy, lending, or other mandatory laws.
Credit4You may restrict or suspend access to the website, an application, or an account where reasonably necessary to protect customers, investigate suspected fraud or misuse, comply with law, address security concerns, perform maintenance, or enforce these Terms.
Suspension of website or portal access does not by itself cancel an existing loan or alter obligations under an accepted loan agreement.
These Terms and Conditions, and any dispute arising from or relating to your use of the Credit4You website, online application, customer portal, or related services, are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, the parties agree that the courts located in the Judicial District of Montréal, Quebec, will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms and Conditions or your use of the Credit4You website and services.
Before beginning formal proceedings, please contact us so we can attempt to resolve the concern. Nothing in these Terms limits, excludes, or waives any consumer rights, remedies, or protections that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law. Nothing in these Terms prevents you from contacting a regulator, privacy commissioner, consumer-protection authority, court, or other body where you have a legal right to do so.
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to our website, services, practices, or legal requirements. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before a material change takes effect. Changes to these website Terms do not retroactively change an accepted loan agreement unless the agreement and applicable law permit the change.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that provision.
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any application-specific consents govern use of the website and application process. Any accepted loan is additionally governed by its disclosures, authorizations, and loan agreement.
Headings are for convenience only. Words such as “including” mean “including without limitation.”
